Did you received a message while downloading a file?
If you i have a method to solve the problem.
Step 1 - Fine the location where you are saving the file.
Step 2 - See the drive letter where you are saving your file.for example i am saving my file in
"C:\Downloads"here C: is my Drive letter
Step 3 - Go to Run and type cmd.exe
Step 4 - Type chkdsk "Drive Letter" /r (Write with out inverted comma)
Example - chkdsk c: /r
Step 5 (may or may not be required)- If it says that you disk is in use do you want to schedule a scan type Y and press enter
If you have a lot of file in Hard Disk it will take you more than a hour to complete the scan.Mine took me 3 hrs.
After the scan is completed restart the computer.
